☕🐢 MEET OUR SPECIAL GUEST PRESENTER: LINDA SODERQUIST! 🌊🎨
We’re excited to announce that Linda Soderquist, Linda's Island Art, will be our special guest presenter for the first A Brew With A View of the season on Wednesday, October 7, as we dive into the fascinating world of Sea Turtles! 🐢
Linda brings an incredible depth of experience and a lifelong passion for Florida’s wildlife and conservation. For more than 20 years, she served as a primary permit holder with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for sea turtle data collection, education and strandings on Little Gasparilla Island.
After retiring from a career in education in 2010, Linda became a Florida Master Naturalist and turned her attention toward her passion for art, conservation and environmental education.
Her connection to Florida’s natural world has also inspired her award-winning watercolor artwork, including an opportunity as an Artist in Residence at Big Cypress National Preserve. 🎨
With decades of hands-on experience studying and protecting Florida’s wildlife, Linda is sure to bring a fascinating and personal perspective to our conversation about these incredible creatures and the coastal environment they call home.
