Freedom of Web

Freedom of Web Originally created in opposition to SOPA and P**A James Madison drafted the First Amendment and its revolutionary idea of freedom of speech.

Freedom of Web is a non-profit organization created to keep the Internet free from intrusion by the myriad forces seeking to regulate it in a manner never intended at its inception. Freedom of Web operates to keep speech, purchases, downloads and any other web based activity free from intrusion. With philosophical views similar to our Founding Fathers, Freedom of Web believes those revolutionary i

deals should be applied here, in the 21st Century. He was prescient and his beliefs are as important now as they were when he participated in the creation of America. For example, in the Federalist No. 10, Madison wrote of factions, or groups of people with strong ideological principles. Madison writes that “the most common and durable source of factions has been the various and unequal distribution of property.” This was true in the 1700′s and is arguably more true today. The tyranny of top down rule is to be feared. The tyranny of the majority is to be feared. The Internet can be great equalizer. On the web, if we keep everyone equal; equal freedoms, equal rights, etc., we can, at least in the ethereal world, keep moving toward the natural progression. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
