Knights of the Roundtable

Knights of the Roundtable is the student government at Lynn University.

Fall 2011, saw the birth of a new tradition surrounding Lynn University's iconic symbol, the Knight. Lynn's former student government led by a president was replaced with The Knights of the Roundtable (KOR). As in the story of King Arthur's Knights of the Roundtable, there is no head of the group; All 12 members have equal status.

Meet your Vice President, Jemsley Asselui!

Jemsley is a junior from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He is majoring in Investment Management with a minor in International Business. Jemsley is involved in many things on campus such as being an RA with Housing and Residence Life.
He is a tour-guide with Admissions and is also a member of the Social Impact Taskforce! Jemsley hopes to one day build a conglomerate business as an entrepreneur, investor, and innovator!

Jemsley is KOR’s Vice President! He is in charge of many things such as working on fulfilling the election platform. He does this by having meetings with the Knights of the Roundtable, engaging with the student body, strategically creating ideas and finding solutions to questions and concerns of the student body.

A fun fact about Jemsley is he was ranked the #1 athlete going into high school!

Meet your Secretary, Mikaylah Perry!

Mikaylah is a senior from New Castle, Delaware. She is majoring in Fashion Merchandising. Mikaylah is involved in many things on campus such as being the president of the Fashion and Retail Association and is a Student Ambassador for the Office of Admissions! Her future plans include attending grad school at Drexel University in Philadelphia!

Mikaylah is KOR’s Secretary! She is in charge of things such as taking minutes and tracking attendance at KOR meetings. She also maintains all KOR files as well as setting up calendars and schedules. She is in charge of sending end of the year notes to the archivist and maintaining the KOR official documents!

A fun fact about Mikaylah is that she modeled on WPTV NewsChannel 5 for a plus sized fashion segment with Mr. Fashion (Professor Burnstine)!

Meet your Student Affairs Knight, David Czarlinsky!

David is a senior from Charlotte, North Carolina. He is majoring in Communication and Emerging Media with a minor in Journalism. David is involved in many things on campus! He is a CA, he is involved with iPulse, he is in LLI, he is in the fraternity SAE and he works for athletics communication! He hopes to one day work in sports communication!

David is KOR’s Student Affairs Knight! He works with the Dean of Students, Housing and Residence Life, Student Involvement and Campus Safety!

A fun fact about David is that he is a huge Wolfhawk fan!

Meet your Internal Relations Knight, Hattie Rowe!

Hattie is a sophomore from Westwood, Massachusetts. She is majoring in Communications with a minor in Public Relations. Hattie is very involved on campus! She is on the E-Board for Sigma Sigma Sigma and is also a part of Panhellenic here at Lynn! Hattie loves being a leader and hopes to one day run her own business!

Hattie is KOR’s Internal Relations Knight! Her job is to promote KOR within the student body. She does things such as, run the KOR social media platforms, makes flyers and anything else PR related!

A fun fact about Hattie is she loves reality TV and grew up as a competitive dancer!

Meet your Chair of Council of Presidents, Blake Frame!

Blake is a sophomore from Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Political Science with a minor in public relations and advertising. Blake is very involved on campus! He is the president of Project Civitas, a student organization that aims to spread civility on campus. And he is also an RA! Blake hopes to one day practice public defense for criminal law cases.

Blake is KOR’s Chair of Council of Presidents! His job is to act as a liaison between the student organizations and KOR to ensure that both their concerns are heard! He also provides assistance with any questions or problems that they have.

A fun fact about Blake is that he chose his major because he really loved the TV show, Scandal!
