Even for Florida this is a strange, but true, story.
Much in our representative government in Florida is broken. If the disconnect between the state's growing population and those elected by fewer and fewer voters in gerrymandered districts continues, expect even more outrageous possibilities.

A disgraced doctor and alleged user of crack and m**h managed to take over a city until he got caught. Somehow, that was just the beginning.
