Research from the Field: Operation Red-White-Blue: A Community Engagement Project Supporting Veteran Mental Health

Operation Red‑White‑Blue highlights a 24‑month community engagement project led by Ayse Torres, Ph.D. and Cheryl A. Krause‑Parello, Ph.D. that brought veterans and community mental health providers together to improve veteran‑centered care. With over 600 stakeholders, community forums, and a national summit, the project helped reduce stigma, improve cultural competency, and shape a Veteran‑Centered Mental Health Research Agenda.
