Today was another exciting day for Waters Edge Aftercare 🤩🙌🎉 as we were honored at the end of the year after school programs celebration 🎊Our very own
Ms. Annabell won staff of the year 👏👏 for all of Palm Beach County and I myself was recognized for my years of service and all of the work that I have done over the past 11 years for afterschool programs ❤️

Once again, Waters Edge aftercare was honored by Primetime Inc., which is a partnering company who allows our counselors and staff to further their education and pursue college degrees 🎓

Next time you see Ms. Erica or Ms. Annabell be sure to congratulate them on their accomplishments 🎉🎉 and for being recognized by Primetime Inc. and Ms. Marti once again was recognized for her contributions to afterschool programs and her amazing work with children 🙌 Discovery Key is truly lucky to have her ☘️

Ms. Marti's last day with ATB is today, 4/26...This program has been blessed with her the last 10 years as she continually grew through ATB starting as a Counselor, then moving on to the Dismissal Desk and finally as the Assistant Site Director. To say this is a GREAT loss to ATB is an understatement. Please send good wishes and love her way as she makes a lateral move to be the Assistant Site Director at Discovery Key starting on Monday, 4/29.

It is with great sadness and excitement that I share with you all that I have accepted a promotion with the Aftercare department on the district level where I will serve as an Afterschool Liaison with the department of Extended Learning. My last day with ATB at Waters Edge Elementary will be Friday, May 24th.

In my 11 years at WEES I have learned and grown so much not only from my position (staff and colleagues) but all of my families and of course your kiddos. I feel so blessed to have been with your families for so many years in some cases watching multiple children in your families grow up. Those of you who have been part of our camp know how special that program has been allowing me to get to know all of you on a different level. I truly have felt a part of your lives personally and I cannot thank you enough for your continued support over the years.

As I say to goodbye to Waters Edge ATB, I would be remise if I did not take a moment to once again thank all of you for sharing your children with ATB and me. They are inquisitive, creative, funny, happy, and energetic great kids and it was my pleasure to get to know them in my time here. To my wonderful and amazing staff…your commitment dedication and professionalism never wavered no matter what. You made my time here at WEES incredible and for that, I am truly appreciative. ATB Families…please be sure to bring your older kiddos (those in middle and high school) by before 5/24 so I can say a proper goodbye to them.

After-School Program Registration Opens TODAY!!!!!
For the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, registration for District after-school programs for incoming kindergarten students and current students in grades K-5 begins TODAY Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 7 p.m. You can click below to access the registration portal TONIGHT. Please NOTE: You MUST click on Waters Edge Elementary when requesting enrollment TONIGHT at 7pm for Waters Edge ATB. Failure to do so will cause it to go into a generic program and we will NEVER see it.

Once a contract request has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the after-school director. Submitting a contract request DOES NOT guarantee enrollment into a program. Acceptance into an after-school program is determined by the number of slots available, on a first-come, first-served basis. Upon approval of your contract request, you will be notified via email. Sites will notify any parent who is on the waitlist, by Friday, May 10, 2024.
There is a $35 registration fee for elementary after-school programs. Parents will be required to submit the registration fee when they are notified that their Eleyo enrollment contract request has been accepted. Payments for Waters Edge Aftercare can ONLY be made online through Eleyo.

The purpose of the Department of Extended Learning is to facilitate opportunities for quality afterschool programs which meet the fundamental needs common to all students during afterschool hours.

Happy Solar Eclipse Day: Just wanted to be sure our ATB families were aware that we will NOT be outside during anytime during the eclipse. Prior to homework time at 3pm will be working on fun packets consisting of activities related to the solar eclipse
