Information from our Kendall County Office of Emergency Management Update – July 15 - 10:00 am
The count for missing persons in Kendall County remains at zero, while the number of those recovered stands at nine.
The presence of Federal and State resources will increase across Kendall County as these teams continue staging operations, working side by side with our local first responders. Work includes searching through and clearing debris piles throughout the impacted area. If you see any of these teams around the county, whether local or from afar, please take a moment to thank them for their service and dedication.
Please do not remove any debris piles until the recovery teams have thoroughly searched and given an all-clear.
We know our County residents may be ready to move forward, and to that end, updates will be made in the upcoming days, including:
• Debris removal
• Volunteer opportunities
• Community cleanup efforts
