Our 1979 USAF AM General M813 arrived this morning at 0730. The paint job has driven me nuts since the first time I saw the truck so in a frenzy I prepped, primed, and painted the truck in one day at it looks motorpool amazing!

The fuel treatment went well and it’s idling much better. The fuel filter had some algae so it was replaced.

The oil filter canister was loose and leaking a little oil. All the engine bay nuts and bolts were checked and tightened. A low idle causes vibrations which rattles bolts loose.

I took it out for a 10 mile test drive and it drove amazing. This truck wants to run and that’s exactly what we are going to do with it.

SeaBass had the honor of participating in training with the USAF 433rd Medical Group. Military working dogs when either injured themselves or accompanying their handlers who are injured and receiving medical care need to be treated carefully to avoid injuries and to give the handler and k9 the best care possible. SeaBass got to be a participant so that healthcare providers could learn dog anatomy and learn how to provide them life saving medical care when no Veternarian is available.

I know SeaBass is my hero but now he is a hero to others.

This 1990 BMY M923a2 is an amazing truck. It shows 1300 miles and 350 hours. It’s the best 9!series 5 ton I’ve ever seen. We have made it our missile transporter. We made these Raytheon AIM9M replicas it carries.

We did some PMCS on it today and look forward to taking it out on the road soon.
