We should end today at just over 50% turnout for Early Voting in person!

Please make sure to Early Vote and NOT wait until Election Day. Lines are longer on Election Day and there's less staff and equipment per site vs Early Voting.

We are thankful for the rain but with that comes less turnout. Let's show the rain we don't melt!!!

Day 7.....Great turnout for a Sunday.

We've been talking about record turnout for EV so for reference, here's how we did in the last few presidential elections:

➡️➡️➡️2012

R/V: 25,757
Total Percentage Turnout: 69.46%
Early Voting: 12,521 votes cast (48.61%)
Election Day: 4,388 votes cast (17.04%)
Vote By Mail: 981 votes cast (3.81%)

**Going into 2016 we increased 3,461 voters

➡️➡️➡️2016

R/V: 29,218
Total Percentage Turnout: 69.94%
Early Voting: 15,359 votes cast (52.56%)
Election Day: 3,572 votes cast (12.23%)
Vote By Mail: 1504 votes cast (5.15%)

**Going into 2020 we increased 4,588 voters

➡️➡️➡️2020

R/V: 33,806
Total Percentage Turnout: 78.61%
Early Voting: 21,067 votes cast (62.32%)
Election Day: 2,918 votes cast (8.63%)
Vote By Mail: 2,591 votes cast (7.66%)

‼️The November 2020 election had 3 weeks of Early Voting instead of the traditional 2 in attempts to spread out our voters for less in person contact (COVID). Vote By Mail nearly doubled that Election as our over 65 and disabled voters opted to vote from home.

**Going into 2024 we increased 5,152 voters

Do we know how to show up or what!!! Way to go Kendall County voters! Let's show Texas our voices are loud and proud!

Record breaking turnout 5 days in a row. Today we broke 3000!!!

This election has been exciting! Thank you so much to our voters for their patience while waiting to vote, for becoming creative with parking when our lot is full, and for the smiling faces and attitude of thanks to our AMAZING elections team!

Day 3.....we were just shy of 2600 voters today! Let's keep it up Kendall County!

Today we experienced our first ever loss of power in our Early Voting polling location. We couldnt have had such a smooth transition without help so I would like to take this opportunity to thank my office staff (and one of their spouses) pollworkers, Kendall County Emergency Management team, County Judge, Road and Bridge crew, Precinct 3 Constable and many others who helped us to continue to serve voters with NO DISRUPTION to voting. Voters may have had less light to see while voting but with the help of flashlights were able to successfully cast their ballots while we waited for power to be restored. All of our equipment runs on backup batteries in the event there is loss of power so voters did NOT have to wait or come back later to vote.

We learned a lot from this experience so we can be even better prepared in the event it ever happens again. A huge THANK YOU to the voters who were voting during this time. Your patience and understanding were greatly appreciated!!

10/23/2024

We did it Kendall County! We increased our turnout on Day 2! Today we had 2,711 voters bring our total votes (in person) to nearly 5400!

We are blown away at this turnout and couldn't be happier! Thank you to all those who have voted. We have received so many great comments, words of appreciation to our poll workers, gratitude to our wonderful Kendall County family helping direct traffic and getting our voters in and out safely.

The lines may be long but we can assure you your wait will not be. Find a parking spot on the street on Fawn Valley Dr or park nearby and walk up. Our parking lot gets full quickly but it doesn't stay full. Thank you in advance for your patience as we work hard to ensure a smooth and easy voting experience for you all!

Our first day was one for the record books Kendall County! Nearly 2700 people showed up to vote yesterday kicking off a great start to this election! Please don't wait to vote until Election Day as we expect those lines to be extremely long waits. We have two weeks of Early Voting at the Courthouse Annex (221 Fawn Valley Dr, Boerne, TX)-across from Boerne High School:

10/21 - 10/25 (8am-6pm)
10/26 (7am-7pm)
10/27 (9am-3pm)
10/28 - 11/1 (7am-7pm)

**If you're able to park and walk up, you might want to look for a spot on Fawn Valley Drive instead of entering our parking lot. Please do not block driveways.**

If you live near the comfort area, we will have a temporary branch location setup at the Comfort Baptist Church (100 Amber Dr, Comfort TX) on the following days:

10/25 (9am-6pm)
