DID YOU KNOW THE OLD JAIL MUSEUM IN BOERNE HELPS FUND LOCAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS? 🔒

The Kendall County Historic Jail Museum doesn’t just preserve local history — it also gives back to the community by awarding scholarships to Kendall County high school students each year.

The museum itself is one of the coolest hidden gems in Boerne. The old jail was built in 1887 and served as the county jail for around 100 years before being carefully restored into the museum it is today. Walking through the cells and halls feels like stepping straight into the past.

It’s only open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, so make sure to mark your calendars. One of our favorite hidden gems in town, and helps support a great cause.
