Big Thanks to Boerne Parks & Recreation Department for installing 6 additional Pet Waste Stations along the City's trials! These pet waste stations were purchased as part of our efforts to reduce the amount of pet waste from entering local streams during storm events.

To check for leaks in your home, you first need to determine whether you're wasting water. Then identify the source of the leak.

Reminder: Our upcoming Upper Cibolo Creek Watershed Partnership Meeting will be held on Wednesday - February 8th at the Cibolo Nature Center starting at 6:00 pm.

We are excited to announce that Mark Hamilton, Executive Director of Aquifer Management Services for the Edwards Aquifer Authority (EAA) will be our guest speaker at the meeting. Mark will discuss the important work EAA is doing to better understand the relationship between the Edwards and Trinity aquifers in an attempt to refine the conceptual understanding of the Edwards Aquifer.

We know that Upper Cibolo Creek returns underground to recharge the Trinity Aquifer just after flowing through Boerne. Our guest speaker will provide us with a better understand of where this water is going and why it is important to improve and protect the quality of our surface waters before they recharge our states aquifers.
