Dear Facebook Friends. ACTS has been so blessed in having community support whenever the need arises. We are hoping that this trend continues. We are currently in need of the following: Gently used cookware and bakeware, home decor items, women's underwear and socks, Girl's (pre-teen) and teen underwear, men's underwear, socks and undershirts. diapers - sizes newborn, 1,2,3,4 and 5. We are open Tuesday and Friday from 9 until 1 to accept donations. Thanks so much for whatever you can provide!

Due to the overwhelming generosity of our community, ACTS will not be able to accept clothing or household donations until January 6th. Our closets are overflowing, and we are out of room. We suggest donating to Habitat Restore or Project Safe. We will still be accepting food donations. Thanks for your understanding!

ACTS will be having our annual Can-a-thon sorting day this Friday November 21st at the ACTS building. We will be sorting outside from 9:00 am until finished. Come join in the fun and help our neighbors in need. We look forward to seeing you there.

FYI: ACTS is currently in need of the following items:

New and/or gently used:
Towels. wash cloths, blankets, sheets, bedspreads and comforters.

Cookware and bakeware in good condition.

Socks: Men's. boys. and girls.

And as always, financial donations are always greatly appreciated.
We're so grateful for the continued support we receive from our community.

ACTS will be closed Friday July 4th to observe Independence Day. We will reopen Tuesday July 8th.

The ACTS Board of Directors and volunteers extend our sympathy to the family of Sandy Bishop. Sandy was one of the founding members of ACTS and has served on our board since it was founded. She was also a dedicated volunteer from her church, Watkinsville First Baptist. She always cared for and wanted to help our neighbors in need in any way she could. Our community will miss Sandy greatly! We will be praying for comfort for the family. Rest in peace Sandy.

ACTS will be closed tomorrow January 10th due to the inclement weather predicted. Our clients and volunteers should stay home and be safe. Thank you!

Due to the inclement weather headed our way, the ACTS food bank will be closed tomorrow September 27th. We follow the Oconee County School System inclement weather policy so our clients and volunteers can stay home and be safe.

ACTS (Area Churches Together Serving) will have our sorting day for the Can-a-thon food collected by the Oconee Co. School System on Friday, November 17th, 2023. We need a lot of volunteers for this day. Come join in the fun and fellowship while serving our neighbors in need. We will start at 9:00 am, but could use a few people to help setup at 7:00 am. Looking forward to seeing you at our building at 130 East Thompson Street, Bogart, Ga. 30622.
