City Announcement:
As we prepare for the upcoming city elections, 2 additional assistant workers are needed to work the following dates for early and Election Day voting. You must be a registered voter to qualify.
April 21st, April 23rd, April24th, April 27th, April 28th, 2026. Early voting hours will be 8:00am - 5:00pm at City Hall, 128 N Main, Bogata, Texas. And for Election Day voting,
May 2nd, 2026, from 7:00am -7:00pm at City Hall, 128 N Mail, Bogata, Texas.
The pay will be $12.00 per hour for the Election Judge (already selected) and $11.00 per hour for each assistant.

The City of Bogata is accepting bids for the removal of two (2) trees at the city park. The services needed are, the cutting and removal of the trees, limbs, and stumps. The Burn Ban for Red River County has been canceled. The City of Bogata will cancel our Burn Ban, as well. Please use extreme caution when burning outside. The recent rains have reduced the risk, but there is still plenty of fuel and wind to ignite and spread a fire. Never leave a fire unattended. Thank you.

Due to the recent dry and windy weather, the Burn Ban for the City of Bogata and Red River County has been called. Much of the area is under "high risk". Outdoor burning of any kind is prohibited until further notice. Please report any violations of this order to the Bogata City Hall at 903-632-5315, or 911 dispatch. Thank you.
