Nate Roberts knows what it means to work hard for Idaho families.
A union electrician, educator, husband, father, and community leader, Nate is running for Idaho House District 29 Seat B to bring compassionate, hardworking, principled leadership back to the Capitol.
Born and raised in Pocatello, Nate has spent more than 36 years working in the skilled trades as a construction electrician and elected union officer. He understands firsthand the challenges working families face because he’s lived them. Alongside his wife of 35 years, Kirsten, Nate has built a life rooted in service, dignity, and community.
During his previous term representing District 29B, Nate fought for stronger public schools, safer workplaces, affordable housing, protection of Idaho’s public lands, and fairer taxes for everyday Idahoans. He stood up against attacks on workers’ rights, opposed efforts to weaken child labor protections, and advocated for investments in education, apprenticeships, and local communities.
Nate is running again because he believes Idaho deserves leadership that listens to working people — not just wealthy insiders and special interests. He’s ready to continue fighting to eliminate the grocery tax, lower the burden of property taxes on families, fully fund public education, protect personal freedoms, and ensure every Idahoan is treated with dignity and respect.
Because, as Nate says, “We all do better, when we all do better.”
