Founded in 1990, Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity is one of over 2000 affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International. Operated on Christian principles, Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally through constructing, rehabilitating and pre

serving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Building simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with volunteers, donors, and sponsors, Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity works in support of families who invest hundreds of "partnership hours" in preparation for successful homeownership.

Please join us in welcoming Katie, our new Home Repairs Services Manager! 🏡💚

Originally from Washington, Katie has called Boise home since 2017. With a Master of Social Work from Boise State and experience with Jesse Tree and St. Luke’s Hospital, Katie has seen firsthand how deeply housing impacts our neighbors and their well-being.

Now, she’s bringing that passion to Habitat’s Home Repairs Program—and we’re so excited to have her on the team! 💙

As a fellow nonprofit, Good Heart Tech provides free IT support and technology resources to other nonprofits, helping organizations spend less time worrying about technology and more time focusing on their missions.

When asked what the most impactful repair he’s ever done was, Jake couldn’t pick just one. 🧡

Because to him, every repair matters — and the most impactful one is the one he’s working on right now.

As our Repairs Program Manager, Jake has built ramps that help our neighbors stay safe, independent, and in their homes. This September, we’re helping him keep building through Ramp Up! Our goal is to raise enough to build 10 ramps for 10 families across the Treasure Valley.

A ramp is more than a way in and out—it’s a way to keep living. ❤️

It means safely getting to a doctor’s appointment, visiting family, picking up groceries, and enjoying a day in the community. When we help our neighbors stay safely in their homes, we help them keep their independence, routines, connections, and memories.
