We made our own fair here at the Veterans Home! Such a fun day filled with games, food, prizes and lots of laughs. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers - we couldn't have done it without you!

The Idaho State Veterans in Boise celebrated America's 250th Birthday! It was a great event with bagpipers from the Boise Highlanders Bagpipe Band, commemorative anniversary pins given to our veterans, and a wonderful patriotic speech presented by our Activity Team!

We've been trying new fishing spots all over the Boise area this year! It's great to get outside and enjoy the day with our amazing volunteers. We tried so hard but so far- the fish are winning. Our current total catch is 1!

It was a fantastic day filled with beautiful cars, great conversation, and meaningful moments for our residents.

Our residents were treated to an unforgettable VIP experience at Friday’s Gunfighter Air Show.
From flightline access to a delicious BBQ, every detail made the day special.

The highlight was spending time with the Thunderbird pilots—signing hats, sharing stories, and showing genuine appreciation for our veterans. A dedicated team working behind the scenes made it all possible, and we are so grateful.

A heartfelt thank‑you to Tom Ressler, John Spurney, Nix and Michelle Niksich, and Carl Olsen for advocating for this special honoring of our veterans at such a spectacular event. Your efforts meant so much.

Like so many, we were deeply saddened by Sunday’s tragedy, yet incredibly relieved that the pilots were able to safely eject. It was a powerful reminder of both the risks and the strength behind those who serve.
