Thank you, Leadership Idaho Agriculture, for hosting the 2026 Congressional Aides Fact-Finding Tour!

Congressional staffers are in the Treasure Valley this week learning firsthand about the challenges facing Idaho agriculture, and how policies being developed in DC impact our producers.

Congress is HOME for recess, and that's a big deal for wheat and barley growers.

Your Senators & Congressman are out meeting constituents at fairs, town halls, and local offices. It's election season, which means they're paying extra attention. Let's make sure they hear from us.

What we need from Congress:
- A strong Farm Bill
- Regulatory certainty based on real science
- A farm economy where growers can actually profit
- Lower costs on fertilizer, crop protection, parts & machinery
- Strong trade partnerships to keep Idaho wheat & barley moving to customers worldwide

What YOU can do:
- Hit up a town hall or fair stop
- Visit their local office
- Invite them to YOUR farm

Every visit matters. Other voices will be in the room too; let's make sure grain growers are heard loud and clear!
