Hello Robie Creek! Big changes are coming for the RCVFD organization. The entity you've known as Robie Creek Volunteer Fire Department no longer has the same purpose as it has for the past 40 years, but the current board and community members we've talked with so far believe that there are plenty of community needs on Robie Creek that could help most or all of us. At our next board meeting Tuesday, November 11th at 7pm at Station #2 (134 Mores Creek Rim Rd.), we ask that you come join the ongoing discussion of what's next for RCVFD and our community!

Please join us at the monthly RCVFD board meeting Tuesday, October 14 at 7pm at Station #1 to start the discussion of what's next for RCVFD!

We are coming up on the 100 deadliest days of summer. With that said, we are coming up to fire season. Many areas of the county have already had a couple acre sized fires.

If you have not already, make sure you SIGN UP or UPDATE your information for AlertSense. This is what the county uses for reverse 911's. Examples of how it could be used is for fire evacuations or extended road closures etc.

Here is the link to sign up. It can also be found on the county website under the Sheriff's Office section.

Many of our residents don't have Facebook or access to the internet. Do your part and talk with your neighbors and friends to make sure they are signed up.

Boise County is able to send you emergency alerts via text message, email, pager, or voice mail (in extreme cases), based on your preferences. It is important that we collect this contact information because many households no longer utilize traditional land-based telephone lines. The system is int...
