Hello from Mount Rushmore! I just wrapped up a great week in South Dakota meeting with secretaries of state from across the country at the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) conference. This week also marked the conclusion of my tenure as “Secretary for the Secretaries” on the NASS executive board. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such dedicated colleagues from across the nation.

Secretary of State ➡️ Secretary of Steak

ICYMI: 🍔 I stopped by KTVB to share a few tips and tricks with Idahoans for serving up the perfect burger at summer cookouts. As an award-winning competitive pitmaster, I’ve learned a thing or two about crafting a winning meal. While the burgers sizzled, the news team grilled me on some Idaho trivia!

A memorable afternoon as we continue to celebrate America250 across Idaho!

It was an honor to read a portion of the Declaration of Independence on the rim of the Snake River Canyon near Shoshone Falls as Idaho joined communities around the world in a simultaneous public reading of our nation's founding document.

Despite the windstorm, we stood in one of Idaho's most beautiful places and reflected on the principles that have shaped our country.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special event possible and commemorate

It was an honor to celebrate America’s 250th birthday this Fourth of July!

From the Veterans Breakfast and parade to the incredible performances from our talented musical guests, it was a memorable and meaningful day at the Capitol.

It’s inspiring to see Idahoans across our great state coming together to celebrate the freedoms we cherish and the country we love. Thank you to everyone who helped make these events across the Gem State possible.

God bless Idaho and God Bless America! 🇺🇸

🎉 Happy 136th Birthday, Idaho!

On July 3, 1890, Idaho became the 43rd state in the Union. Today we celebrate 136 years of the people, places, and communities that make the Gem State so special. Happy Birthday, Idaho!
