My sister is Elizabeth Mciver. My brother is State Representative and former Trooper Mike Christian. My children arTrooper Joshua Christian, Jonell Christian, Kimo Puana, Jacob Christian, the late Jon Christian. Daughter-in-law Jennifer Christian. My Grand Children are Jace and Jett Christian. ol from Kindergarten to 12th grade and graduated from Durant High School. I am a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.




1984, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. after completing a Radio Operators Course, I volunteered for a Special Operations Unit known as 2nd ANGLICO in North Carolina. I was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Parachutist Insignia (Gold Wings). I received a Meritorious Mast for Superior Performance during Operation Alpine Warrior 86.




1987, I was Honorably Discharged from the Marine Corps

I applied for the Durant Police Department and was hired.




1991, I was excepted in to Oklahoma Highway Patrol 46th Academy.

1991, I was assigned to Coal County

1992, I was assigned to Bryan County




1993 to 1999, I was assigned to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Honor Guard. In 1998 I was promoted to the Commander. I performed numerous ceremonies and funerals across the state. April 1995, I participated in the rescue, recovery, and relief efforts after the tragic bombing of the Alfred P. I received a Commissioner Commendation Citation. In 1995, I was assigned to McLain County




In 1997, I was assigned to my first academy as a TAC Officer Instructor. It was the 49th Academy.




1997, I was assigned to Tulsa County




1998, I was assigned to Bryan County




1998, I married Teresa Hyde, the love of my life.




1999, I was assigned as a TAC Officer to instruct in the 51st Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy.

1999, while teaching the academy, I was involved in the May 3rd Tornado that came through Moore. I participated in the recovery, rescue, and relief efforts after the Tornado disapated.




2000, I was assigned as a TAC Officer to instruct for the 52nd Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy.




1998 I was assigned to the Oklahoma Highway Tactical Team.

2004, I was assigned to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Investigative Unit. We started a manhunt program with the use of Tracking Dogs and Mules.




2005 to the present, I was Special Deputized by United States Marshal John Loyd of the Eastern District of Oklahoma. I was one of the members that started the full time Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force. I currently am a Team Leader for the Task Force. I am currently Special Deputized by United States Marshal Pat Wilkerson. I have been involved in numerous manhunts and violent fugitive arrests.




2005, I was assigned as a TAC Officer to instruct the 55th Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy.




2008, I was assigned as a TAC Officer to instruct the 58th Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy. I currently have 3,449 hours of full time CLEET Certified Police Training Hours

1992, Oklahoma Highway User FederationTrooper of the Year Award for saving the life of an infant.

1995, Commissioners Commendation for the search, rescue, and relief efforts as a result of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah building.

2002, Award for Heroism from the Windsor Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. The award was for the apprehension of a suspected murderer on the run in Bryan County.

2004, Chiefs Award for rescuing a lost elderly lady in Atoka County.

2007, Letter of Commendation Commissioner Kevin Ward for the apprehension of two escapees convicted of murder in Tulsa County.

2007, Letter of Commendation from United States Marshal John Loyd for the apprehension of a Murder Suspect out of Muskogee.

2009, Above and Beyond Award from the Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence and S*xual Abuse for the apprehension of a double murder suspect Which occurred in the town of Calera.

2009, Letter of Commendation from United States Marshal John Loyd for the apprehension of a double murder suspect which occurred in Calera.

2009, Letter of Commendation from United States Marshal Pat Wilkerson for a Successful S*x Offender Compliance Operation conducted in Bryan County.

2013, Red Feather Award from the Deputy Director of OSBI for the apprehension of a murder suspect out of Haskle County.
