We had the pleasure of celebrating our incredible 5th graders and their families at our 5th Grade Send-Off Breakfast! πŸ₯žπŸŽ“πŸ’šπŸ’›

We loved seeing so many students and parents come together to celebrate the end of an unforgettable elementary school journey and the exciting adventure ahead in middle school. The room was filled with laughter, memories, and JES pride as we honored this special group of students.

Thank you to all of the families who joined us this morning and helped make the event so special. We are so proud of our 5th graders and can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the future! ❀️

We celebrated one of our favorite JES traditions β€” the 5th Grade Clap Out! πŸŽ“πŸ’šπŸ’›

Our hallways were filled with cheers, smiles, high fives, and a few happy tears as we honored our amazing 5th graders on their last day at JES. To make the moment even more special, JES alumni who are now high school graduates returned to lead the clap out and welcome our students into the next chapter of their journey.

What a powerful reminder that once you are part of the JES family, you are always part of the JES family. ❀️

We are so proud of our 5th graders and cannot wait to see all the incredible things they accomplish in middle school and beyond. Congratulations, Class of 2033! πŸŽ‰

πŸ“šβœ‚οΈ Yesterday, we officially celebrated the opening of the Jonas Salk Little Free Library with a special ribbon cutting ceremony!

We are so excited to provide our students, families, and community with a place to discover new stories, share favorite books, and inspire a love of reading for everyone.

A huge thank you to Girl Scout Troop 76175 for their generous donation of books to help stock the library and for volunteering to serve as its dedicated stewards. Your hard work and support made this wonderful addition to our school possible! πŸ’šπŸ’›

Remember: Take a book, share a book, and help keep the joy of reading growing throughout our community! πŸ“–βœ¨

What a successful Girls on the Run 5K! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’œ

On Saturday, our girls crossed the finish line with confidence, determination, and huge smiles after weeks of hard work and training. We are beyond proud of all they accomplished β€” not just during the race, but throughout the entire season.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our amazing coaches and running buddies who came out to cheer, encourage, and support our girls every step of the way. Your time, energy, and positivity helped make this experience so special and memorable for them.

Congratulations, girls! You did it! πŸŒŸπŸ‘Ÿ

Mrs. Komos’ kindergarteners and Mrs. Smith’s 4th graders had a wonderful time together as class buddies! πŸ’™πŸ¦‹

The students teamed up for a fun spring activity where they used sponge painting techniques to create colorful butterflies. The creativity, teamwork, and smiles were endless! After finishing their masterpieces, the buddies enjoyed the beautiful weather with a walk around the building together.

We love seeing our students build friendships, encourage one another, and create lasting memories across grade levels! β˜€οΈπŸŽ¨
