Due to the potential impacts of the tropical storm, High Island ISD will be closed Tuesday, September 1, out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students, staff, and families.

All practices and games are also canceled for Tuesday.

At this time, we plan to resume normal school operations on Wednesday, September 2. Please stay connected to ParentSquare and our official district channels for any additional updates.

High Island ISD continues to closely monitor the tropical system in the Gulf. Once a decision is made, we will communicate with our families and community as quickly as possible.
