CLAYS FOR A CAUSE 2025

The Hardeman County Rescue Squad hosted its first Clays for a Cause fundraiser on November 1, 2025, at The Clays at Lone Oaks, a premier 14-station world-class sporting clays course.

This year, the event drew 26 shooters, forming six four-person teams along with two individual competitors. Participants enjoyed a day of friendly competition, followed by a BBQ plate lunch and a live and silent auction.

Thanks to the generosity of participants and sponsors, the event raised over $4,000 in support of the Hardeman County Rescue Squad.

🏆 Top honors went to Jimmy Farris, Tommy Skelton, Tony Kirk and Matt Smelser, who claimed 1st Place Team, and Robert Strain, who earned 1st Place Individual.

The Hardeman County Rescue Squad extends heartfelt thanks to all who attended, volunteered, and contributed to making the day a success. Plans are already underway to make Clays for a Cause an annual event supporting the organization’s vital, all-volunteer work — including vehicle extrication, search and rescue, fire rehabilitation, and more — throughout Hardeman County.
