Emergency response exercise underway in Bolivar

Citizens Memorial Hospital is participating in an emergency response exercise this morning with area emergency response agencies. Residents may notice increased emergency vehicle activity near the Bolivar Recreation and Aquatic Center and Citizens Memorial Hospital. This is a planned exercise, and there is no cause for alarm.

Periodic emergency exercises help CMH and area agencies test emergency procedures, improve coordination and strengthen preparedness for real emergencies. We will provide an update when the exercise has concluded. Thank you for your understanding.
