The Sheriff’s Office Animal Protective Services Division will be hosting a FREE Rabies Vaccination Clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 429 Green Swamp Road in Supply. No appointment needed.

Dogs must be on a leash. Cats must be in a carrier. For more information, call 910-253-1738.

⭐ Rabies vaccinations are an important part of keeping your pets, your family, and our community safe. North Carolina law requires all owned dogs, cats, and ferrets to be vaccinated against rabies by four months of age. Pet owners must also keep the animal’s rabies vaccination status up to date throughout the animal’s entire lifetime. This is the law, regardless of whether your pet lives inside or outside your house.

Attention all GFL Environmental curbside trash and recycling customers! 📢♻️

Here’s a friendly reminder on best practices for placing your carts at the curb to ensure safe and proper collection. Learn more: https://ow.ly/XWmW50YYcoF

If you ever have any questions about your collection day or services, contact GFL Environmental at 910-253-4177 (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Learn more about your curbside service at https://ow.ly/jQsx50YYcoE

⭐ Place your trash can and recycling bin at the curb with the wheels facing your house and the lid opening into the street. Wheels should touch the curb.
⭐ Keep your garbage cans four feet apart and at least four feet or more from any obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, lamp posts, or power lines.
⭐ Keep your container at the curb until the end of the day if it hasn’t been collected. Sometimes the timing of our arrival changes, and we don’t want to miss you if we come later than expected.
⭐ It’s generally best to put your container out the night before your collection day. That way even if we’re early, you won’t miss your pick-up.

Note: Some areas with HOAs have specific regulations for when your trash should be at the curb, so always check your bylaws first.
