Removal has begun and one lane has been shut down. The road is still passable just drive with caution.

**UPDATE** 9:15 PM 7/29/26

The tractor trailer unit involved in this crash was not able to be removed tonight. Tow operators will be back at 9 am to remove it. Be advised removal will take several hours and there will be some delays on VT Route 11/30.

Expects delays and temporary closures in the area of VT Route 11/30 at Snowflake Ln due to a motor vehicle accident. Additional details are not currently available and once the road is clear an update will be posted.

Heavy rain is moving through our area and has the potential to cause flooding on roadways and in low-lying areas.

Please use extra caution if you must travel. Never drive through flooded roads. It’s often impossible to tell how deep the water is.

Last week one of our officers came across a large tacklebox and its contents all over the roadway on VT Route 11/30. If you were travelling through the area and lost this item please contact Winhall PD at 802-297-1013

The American Red Cross is currently experiencing an emergency blood shortage, and they need your help.

Blood donations dropped significantly in June, leaving the blood supply nearly 25% lower than needed. At the same time, hospitals are seeing increased demand due to trauma season and other medical emergencies. Right now, the need for O positive and B negative blood is especially urgent.

Please be advised Winhall Hollow Rd from the area of Lake Rd to French Hollow Rd IS NOW OPEN after culvert replacement. There is still ongoing work in the area and for the next few days there will be paving. The road will remain open but expect delays.
