Sometimes the best part of your day is simply having a place you look forward to going.

That’s exactly how Wanda feels about the Bonita Senior Center.

For her, it’s more than just a place to take classes it’s where she stays active, meets new friends, and feels truly comfortable being herself. She especially appreciates that everything is designed with her stage of life in mind, making it easy and enjoyable to stay engaged without pressure or overwhelm.

It’s that sense of ease and belonging that keeps her coming back.

🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾

We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a visit from sweet Maggie the Labradoodle!

Through Beesley’s Paw Prints, a program through United Way, a therapy dog visits the Bonita Senior Center on the first and last Wednesday of each month bringing plenty of smiles, companionship and, of course, lots of puppy love to our members.
Maggie had the very important job of making everyone’s day a little brighter and we think she nailed it!

There’s just something special about the joy a four-legged visitor can bring.

And you DON’T have to be a member to join the fun! Weekly Bingo is open to members AND non-members, so grab a friend and come play!

How do you stay young for the first 100 years?

Dr. Boucher from Thrive Chiropractic Naples joined us at Bonita Senior Center for a special Lunch & Learn, and our members had plenty of questions! She spent more than an hour talking with the group about staying healthy and active, followed by complimentary posture screenings for 20 of our members.

But we especially loved the message we received later that evening. Dr. Boucher told us she was still smiling from her day at BSC. 💙

We were smiling too!

Thank you, Dr. Boucher, for spending the day with us, sharing your knowledge and making it such an engaging experience for our members.

Learning, connecting and taking care of ourselves that’s a pretty good way to stay young.
