Bon Fires are not permitted per the Bonita Springs Fire Department. A Saltwater Fishing License is required to saltwater fish from shore. There is no fee for Florida residents.

There are four easy ways to pay for hourly parking:

• Kiosk (available soon at beach parks)

Have an Annual Parking Pass with us? Your pass is now digital! Renewals and new passes can be purchased through Premium Parking.

Thank you for your patience while our staff worked to reopen sites recently impacted by Tropical Storm Debby. At this time, San Carlos Bay - Bunche Beach Preserve, Lynn Hall Memorial Park and access #4 of Bonita Beach Park have fully reopened to the public.

Lee County Parks & Recreation is assessing sites for damage and impacts from Tropical Storm Debby. Currently, San Carlos Bay - Bunche Beach Preserve, Lynn Hall Memorial Park and access #04 of Bonita Beach Park are closed. Please note that some parking areas along Bonita Beach are also impacted. Further updates will be shared when these sites reopen to the public, which is expected to happen this week.

Starting Monday, Oct. 2, 2023 we will be launching a new parking payment system, Text2Park at the following locations:

- Bonita Beach Park
- Bonita Beach Access #1
- Bonita Beach Access #10
- Bowditch Point Park
- Lynn Hall Memorial Park
- San Carlos Bay - Bunche Beach Preserve

This convienant, cashless pay-by-plate system, allows patrons to pay for parking from their mobile device. Parking is $2 at these locations.

Please observe park rules and “play it safe” on your next visit. We need your help to set good examples for our visitors and our youth. It is important for everyone to make smart choices, observes “closed” signs and does not put themselves or others in dangerous situations.

Lee County Parks & Recreation is dedicated to providing the community with a safe, fun, and natural place to create lifelong memories. Park patrons should observe park rules and "play it safe" during their visit to our open facilities. We need your help to set good examples for our visitors and our youth. Bonita Beach Park will reopen on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

There will be no charge for parking until further notice.

Starting Saturday, March 4, 2023 Lynn Hall Memorial Park, San Carlos Bay - Bunche Beach Preserve, Bonita Beach Park, and Bonita Beach Accesses 1-10 will be open to the public.

There will be no charge for parking until further notice. Bowditch Point Park and Crescent Beach Family Park will remain closed.

Residents and visitors are advised:
• Beaches and beach parks have not been restored to pre-Hurricane Ian conditions.
• Some amenities such as restroom facilities, piers and walkovers have not been repaired or replaced at this time.
• Debris continues to wash onshore and quickly may be obscured by sand.
• Beach shoes should be worn at all times.
• Debris can still be found in near-shore areas, such as dunes or mangrove-lined coastlines.
• Check for any beach or water advisories from the Florida Department of Health-Lee County at lee.floridahealth.gov. FDOH-Lee on Feb. 20 issued a red tide alert for portions of the coast in Lee County.
• Closure signs are posted where necessary, and www.leeparks.org has status updates.
