ERDCC recently recognized an offender who assisted during a fellow offender’s medical emergency. Quick action and a willingness to help can make a difference in critical situations. We appreciate the positive choice made and the teamwork shown by everyone involved.

Challenge coins are frequently used by department leadership and institutional Wardens and Majors to respectfully recognize top-performing staff. Rather than a formal, bureaucratic award, a coin is often presented directly by a supervisor (sometimes via a formal presentation or a traditional, low-profile handshake) to honor exceptional service, milestone achievements, promotions, or a job well done during a crisis.

And we just happen to think ours is the best!
