To my supporters, friends, family, and this community I love — thank you. ❤️

This campaign was one of the hardest and most meaningful things I have ever done. Putting yourself out there publicly is not easy, and I’m incredibly grateful for every conversation, message, prayer, share, donation, hug, wave, and word of encouragement along the way.

While tonight’s results were not what we hoped for, I am proud of the campaign we ran. I set out to focus on issues, leadership, accountability, and ideas for the future of Boundary County — not personal attacks — and I truly hope that came across.

Congratulations to Pam Barton on her victory. Running for public office takes courage, and anyone willing to step forward and serve their community deserves respect for doing so.

I’m also proud of all three candidates for being willing to put themselves out there publicly. That takes more bravery than most people will ever know.

Most of all, thank you, Boundary County. This community matters deeply to me, and no election result changes that.

With gratitude,
Stacie Watts ❤️

It’s Election Day, Boundary County! 🇺🇸

Polls are open from 8 AM to 8 PM today.

This campaign has been built on conversations about accountability, modernization, leadership, and a fresh perspective for our county. Now the decision belongs to the voters.

If you’ve ever said things need to change — today is the day to make your voice count.

No matter the outcome, thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged, volunteered, shared posts, asked hard questions, and believed in this campaign journey.

Now let’s do this.

There’s a difference between maintaining a system and leading one.

Experience matters — but leadership matters too.

After 22 years of the same leadership in the Clerk’s Office, many people in our community have voiced frustration about payroll errors, late vendor payments, outdated systems, and operational inefficiencies.

I respect anyone willing to serve our county. But I also believe taxpayers deserve more than a “seamless transition” into the same problems.

Boundary County deserves leadership focused on modernization, accountability, accuracy, and service to both employees and the public.

Good systems support good people.

On May 19th, voters have a choice:

Continuity… or a new direction.

Fun 5K walk at the B*H Health Fair & Fun Run this morning at Boundary Community Hospital ❤️

It was wonderful seeing so many local organizations, businesses, volunteers, and healthcare professionals coming together to provide resources, wellness information, and support for our community.

From emergency services and family programs to local nonprofits and small businesses, there was something for everyone — and it was great to see so many people out enjoying the morning.

I even came home with tomato and basil plants 🌱🍅

One of the best things about Boundary County is the way our community continues to show up for each other. Events like this are a reminder that strong communities are built by people willing to give their time, energy, and heart back to others.

They are there until noon, go see for yourself 😊

For years, people have said:

“Someone should fix this.”
“Why are things still being done this way?”
“Why does nothing ever change?”

Now the decision is here.

On May 19th, Boundary County voters get to decide whether we keep accepting:
• payroll mistakes
• late payments
• outdated systems
• excuses
• feeling like you’re interrupting the office just by walking in to do business
• and “that’s how it’s always been done”

—or whether we move forward with new leadership, accountability, modernization, and a fresh perspective.

The County Clerk’s Office should serve both the public and county employees well.

People should feel welcomed when they walk through the door.
Employees should have systems that help them succeed.
And taxpayers should know their county is operating professionally, efficiently, and responsibly.

I’m not running to protect the status quo.
I’m running because I believe Boundary County can do better.

🗳️ Election Day is Tuesday, May 19th.

One week. One decision. One opportunity to change the direction of Boundary County.

Election Day is next Tuesday — May 19th.

If you’ve spent years saying things need to change…
If you’ve been frustrated by mistakes, excuses, or “the way it’s always been done”…
This is the moment where words turn into votes.

A fresh perspective only happens if people show up and make it happen.

One of my favorite things about serving on the Boundary County Fair Board has been volunteering my time to help improve and maintain our fairgrounds facilities for the community. Last year, Caleb and I volunteered many hours keeping the outdoor arena prepped and maintained throughout the spring and summer season.

Today, I got started working the outdoor arena again in preparation for the 4-H horse kids’ first horse project riding meeting tomorrow. It’s still a work in progress, but seeing the transformation already underway reminds me why I love being involved.

Supporting our youth programs, our horse community, and the future of our fairgrounds is something I truly care about. ❤️🐴
