Murphy Family Farmstead Hello! We are Kyle and Mikayla Murphy, native Idahoans with deep farming roots and we are the owners and operators of The Murphy Family Farmstead!

Kyle and I have been working so hard to be self sustainable in our lives, from making our own honey, growing our own vegetables, raising organic farm fresh eggs, and raising and harvesting home grown meat. We want to give you the opportunity to be apart of what our growing farm has to offer! Please be on the lookout for everything we will have available this fall and updates on what we have coming

Momma delivered in a very nice nest (dirt hole) she dug that morning that was beautifully done but in direction sunlight 😑 so I present to you a bathtub of very warm baby pigs. In just 3 months Rosey Bell our Dwarf (chondro pos) heifer has gotten so large she can only nurse from the back. Her mom Nova is also chondro and half highland so she is low profile and shaggy making nursing a chore for miss Rosey but they make it work. Rosey Bell is from Nova Bell our Mini Hereford/Highland (chondro pos) X Little John our Mini Hereford/Zebu.

Being chondro positive offers smaller, beefier, highly manageable animals, but risks fatal genetic deformities if 2 chondro positive animals are bred together and potential joint issues.
