πŸŽ‰πŸš’ 1,000 Followers and Growing! πŸš’πŸŽ‰

Paradise Valley Fire would like to thank all of our supporters and followers for helping us reach 1,000 followers on Facebook!

Over the past year, our page has grown from around 300 followers to over 1,000. We appreciate everyone who follows along, shares our posts, supports our events, and stays engaged with what is happening in the district.

Our goal is to keep the community informed, share important safety information, highlight training and department activities, and showcase the great work of our volunteers.

Thank you again for your continued support. We look forward to continuing to serve and connect with our community. πŸš’

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the utility workers, Road & Bridge crews, and members of the public who have been out helping clear roads and restore services following the recent storm.

We would also like to recognize our volunteers who spent much of the night responding to calls, clearing roads, and assisting with road closures due to downed power lines. Your dedication and commitment to our community are greatly appreciated.

As a reminder, if you are still without power or come across a downed power line, assume it is live and dangerous. Please notify Northern Lights or your local utility provider. Do not attempt to cut or remove trees that are in contact with power lines. There is no way to know if a line is energized, and your safety is not worth the risk.

Thank you to everyone who has worked together to help keep our community safe. πŸš’

πŸš’ Recently, Paradise Valley Fire acquired a new command rig to replace an older outdated vehicle. This rig will serve as the Deputy Chief’s new command vehicle and will be designated as 301.

We would like to thank our community for the continued support. Without you, opportunities and upgrades like this would not be possible.

We look forward to continuing to serve Paradise Valley and the surrounding community with reliable equipment and dedicated personnel. πŸš’

πŸš’ Over last weekend, multiple Paradise Valley Fire members participated in the S-215 Wildland Urban Interface course put on by our cooperators at IDL.

This is a vital class, especially considering much of Boundary County is considered WUI (Wildland Urban Interface). Training like this helps us better support our community and work alongside our cooperators during wildland fire incidents.

We appreciate our members for continuing to dedicate their time to training and preparedness. πŸ”₯πŸš’

πŸš’ Last Thursday, thanks to generous donations from local community members, Paradise Valley firefighters were able to get hands-on training with our new extrication equipment.

Training like this gives our members the opportunity to practice and become familiar with the tools we may need to use when seconds matter most.

We truly appreciate the continued support from our community that helps make opportunities like this possible.
