BOONE — Last year, only three people attended a Recycle and Restring event hosted by Kudzu Music; the owner hopes for a larger turnout at the free event.

Lets spend a moment featuring some of our violin collection here at the Boone shop!

At any given time we will display new factory violins, violins from American makers (living and dead), as well as violins Robert has restored.

Three violins of note (pictured in order)

1) 2003 Alfred Michels - spectacular craftsmanship from Watauga County. Many local fiddle players and violin players remember Alfred as a top notch luthier. I never met Alfred personally but I can recognize his work!

2) German lion head fiddle

3) 2021 Brandon Johnson - a friend and violin maker from asheville!

Holiday hours this week are pretty typical hours, we will be closed on Christmas Day!
