Denim & Diamonds 2026 FAQ

Q: When is Denim & Diamonds?
A: Denim & Diamonds will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Q: What time is the event?
A: The event runs from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Q: Where is Denim & Diamonds being held?
A: The event will take place at The White Crow, 401 White Crow Lane, Banner Elk, NC 28604.

Q: Will shuttle service be available?
A: Yes. Trinity Transport will be available all evening from the Mast General Store Annex in Valle Crucis. Shuttles begin at 5:15 PM and will end no later than 9:30 PM.

Q: Are drinks included with admission?
A: Yes. An open bar is included for guests throughout the evening. Beer, wine and house cocktail will be available

Q: What is the entertainment?
A: DJ Services for Mohr Fun Events, Live Auction hosted by Jesse Miller and More!

Q: What food will be served?
A: will enjoy a full menu featuring passed hors d’oeuvres and dinner stations catered by Gadabouts. Passed items include honey goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon, Greek chicken skewers with tzatziki, and pork belly sliders with Asian slaw and Korean mayo.
Q: What dinner stations will be available?
A: The evening menu will include several station options, including:
Classic salad station
Charcuterie display
Low country shrimp and grits with toppings
Sweet potato biscuits with maple butter and apple butter
Carving station with beef tenderloin and sauces
Mashed potato bar with toppings
Q: Will dessert be served?
A: Yes. Dessert will be donated by Ambrosia Bakes.

Q: What do proceeds from the event support?
A: Proceeds from Denim & Diamonds will support low-income families in Watauga, Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey counties through the work of WAMY Community Action.

🎓 Congratulations to Paris Wilkins! She recently graduated summa cm laude from North Carolina Central University with a degree in history, the only student in that department to do so.
Paris received two scholarships through NCCF during her college career: The McBryde Scholarship Endowment and the Mary Ferebee Howard Scholarship.
She wrote: “Your generosity truly helped me more than you know and allowed me to complete my time at NCCU without having to worry about paying out of pocket.”
