🚨 High Fire Weather Alert 🚨
Due to the dry conditions we have experienced the past two weeks and with the dry cold front moving in tonight, we have a high risk of wild fires the next two days. The front will enter our area this afternoon with dry gusty winds up to 30mph Sunday afternoon until Monday evening. These conditions can cause fires to become out of control in a matter of minutes. Please reserve any outdoor burning until Tuesday if possible.

BRFD crews are responding to powerlines down on HWY 23 North and Burton Rd at Brownsville. The highway is open at this time, asking drivers to use caution.

Cotton Road between Booneville and Magazine is now clear and reopened. Please drive carefully west of the intersection with Circle T Road as the pavement has been damaged.

Cotton Rd between Booneville and Magazine is currently blocked due to a vehicle fire. BRFD and Magazine Fire Departments are currently working the scene along with the Logan County Sheriff's Department.

Lyles Chapel Rd East of Booneville is washed out at the 900 block. Please find alternate routes. Luckily the occupants of this vehicle got out safe.

At 12:40 this afternoon, BRFD responded to a multiple vehicle accident at the 4400 block of West State Highway 10. Thankfully, there were no injuries and all victims were treated and released at the scene. We would like to thank all responding agencies, Arkansas State Police, Booneville Police Department, Magazine Police Department, Logan County EMS & Logan County, Arkansas Sheriff's Office.
