To celebrate our nations 250th anniversary the adult craft night was making No Sew Rag Dolls. We had a fun night learning about rag dolls and of course naming the dolls. We had several Martha's and Sarah's.

Colonial America & Western Expansion: During the 1700s and 1800s, cloth dolls became a necessity for pioneer families and those on wagon trains. Children often had to leave manufactured toys behind. Mothers crafted durable, easy-to-repair rag dolls from fabric scraps to provide comfort and security.
