Happy EMS Week to all of the incredible EMTs, paramedics, and first responders who answer the call every day. 🚑💙

This week is about recognizing the dedication, compassion, teamwork, and sacrifices made by EMS professionals who provide lifesaving care to our communities 24/7. Thank you for everything you do — today and every day.

As a volunteer EMS organization, we rely on the support of our community to continue serving those in need. If you would like to support our squad during EMS Week, please consider making a donation to help us continue providing emergency care, training, and equipment for our community.

This week marks National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. Telecommunicators, or commonly referred to as Dispatchers, are the first, first responders, and this week, their work behind the scenes is put into light. These are the men and women who answer your calls for help and are the “ears before the eyes arrive.” They guide callers through crisis, calm the chaos and route and coordinate response efforts. Whether it be a call for an infant choking or a resident calling regarding their lost dog, Dispatchers are the vital point in how the responders receive the call.

This role is one that most overlook, but without their dedication, professionalism and commitment to the work they do, the Emergency Service System would be broken. This week, we thank our Dispatchers for what they do for us, in all capacities, large or small. Their work does not go unnoticed and we are thankful to work alongside some of the best in the nation! Special thanks to Morris County Communications Center!
