This mission is carried out by closely interfacing with Local, State and Federal agencies in an effort to bring resources and recovery and support.

Remember school is starting August 10th in Warrick County. Buses will be taking kids to school. Remember there is no passing a school bus with the stop arm and lights on when loading and unloading on SR 62 from Boonville to Vanderburgh County line. On Lincoln Ave in Chandler. This is for traffic going both ways if the bus is stopped.

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: we are still watching a system which may bring heavy rainfall and possible severe weather on New Years Eve. Severe threat is still somewhat unclear and conditional. Please stay alert to weather updates as we approach the end of the week.

New alert days for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Strong winds Wednesday may cause weakened trees and building to fall. Heavy rainfall may lead to flooding by Friday and the weekend. I will have a special weather discussion on all of our digital platforms Tuesday night at 8:30 CST.

New concerns for wind and possible heavy rain/flooding over the recovery areas in western Kentucky. We will add Alert Days for Thursday-Friday. Not expecting severe weather, but winds may be strong enough to topple damaged trees and flooding will make conditions hazardous
