🏈 It’s Game Day, Pirates! 🏈

Today is the district’s first home football game, and our David Barton students got an extra-special welcome this morning! BHS football players and cheerleaders were here to greet our students as they arrived at school. 💙🏴‍☠️

We love seeing our Pirate family come together and showing our youngest Pirates what school spirit is all about!

After a fun summer break, they’ve enjoyed catching up with friends, meeting new classmates, and settling into their 4th grade routines. 💙📚

From reconnecting with friends to meeting new teachers and settling into new classrooms, our hallways were full of energy and excitement today.

The halls of David Barton Elementary are officially filled with smiles, excitement, and so much energy! From our amazing chalked sidewalk, courtesy of our incredible PTA, to welcoming our students as they arrived, it was the perfect start to a brand-new school year.

Our students also jumped right into PBIS Bootcamp, learning what it means to be Safe, Respectful, and Responsible—the Pirate Way! 🏴‍☠️

We are so excited for the year ahead and all the learning, growing, friendships, and memories that are waiting for us.
