😍 Originally known as Honey at our shelter, has pulled at a few of your heart strings! Well now she’s available!!

😞 We found this sweet babes true name to be Dolly. Dolly was unfortunately dumped into our care after failing to find the community assistance needed in their own county. Dolly had to live inside a car with the owners due to hard times until it was decided this wasn’t the best nor safest life for the dog. After turned away by many she ultimately ended up in our care as a “stray” until we found out the truth.

🥳 Since joining our care Dolly has went from a shy and depressed doodle- to wanting to be everyone’s friend and knowing exactly how to win you over! Dolly has had her heart worm testing done as of today and results were found to be negative!

🤔 So you’re thinking about adopting her? A few things to know. Dolly although older, 1-2yrs old, still has a lot of puppy energy and nipping is something that will need to be worked with! Kennel training is still something we haven’t fully mastered either! A spay appointment will need to be made and performed before fully adopting her, just as all of our pets require!

🐕 Always wanted a doodle? Remember these are living breathing animals that deserve love and respect. She is not a couple month commitment because doodles are popular! This breed can and will be high energy you have to be ready for those long walks on the leash! At the same time they can be high anxiety as well. Grooming is also a must! Doodles are cute and fun. A matted mess is painful and will get infections!

🥰 Come meet our girl today! Maybe she’s the next fur baby for you! Dolly just like all animals in our shelter are on a first come first serve basis. We also require a meet and greet with other dogs within your house hold.

Warrick County Residents can foster or bring home after adoption paperwork is signed while awaiting her spay appointment! Out of county residents can adopt, but she cannot leave until an appointment is made. If you wish to foster out of county there is a huge chance we can work with the shelters around you just have them call us at (812)897-6107.

🐕 More animals need the public’s help like yours! Reminder for Warrick County Residents we have a foster program that we’d love for you to join! Be our first foster home so more animals can have a try at that second chance!

🐈 NonWarrick County Residents are still welcome to foster! All you have to do is join up with your favorite nonprofit’s foster program and have them call us!

❤️ UPDATE - Tucker is now in a foster to adopt home!! We will hopefully be able to finalize his adoption when he gets neutered in July! 🥳

Meet Tucker! 🐾

Tucker is an owner surrender from a sad situation. Tucker's owner passed away & a kind person tried to take him in. Unfortunately she found out she is allergic to him. 😪

Tucker is a 4 year old black lab that weighs 53lbs. He is such a sweetie!! He is crate trained, good with other dogs, good with kids, & is house trained!! What more could you ask for??!!

He is a love bug & just wants someone to love ❤️ & spoil him!

This husky was found on Boston Drive in Newburgh. They dog is microchipped with inaccurate information.

We ALWAYS check animals for microchips when they come in. So many microchips have inaccurate information. If your pet is microchipped, PLEASE keep your personal information updated!!

Liberty is a 7 month old border collie mix that was surrendered to us due to a lifestyle change. Now Liberty is looking for a new home 🏡 so she can be a spoiled puppy!

Liberty is a 32lb bundle of puppy energy! She loves to fetch toys, although she doesn't always bring them back! She is a very happy dog who is always looking for someone to love on her!
