A special thank you to Matt Rego from our Public Works Department for his outstanding craftsmanship and thoughtful design of our new benches in front of the town office.

Matt, thank you for your hard work, creativity, and dedication to creating something for our community. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail have transformed this space into one that people are already enjoying every day. Since their installation last week, people have been enjoying the benches while waiting for family and friends, enjoying a delicious treat from one of our local shops, reading a book, or taking a moment to rest and plan their day in Boothbay Harbor.

I’d also like to recognize our entire Public Works Department. Much of what they do often goes unnoticed, yet their work has a tremendous impact on the appearance, safety, and quality of life in our community. From maintaining our roads and public spaces to completing projects like this, they take great pride in making Boothbay Harbor a welcoming place for residents and visitors alike.

Thank you to Matt and the entire Public Works team for your dedication, professionalism, and commitment. Your hard work truly makes a difference!
