Thank you to Congregation Ohev Shalom in Wallingford that recently donated to the Wesley House Shelter. Congregation Ohev Shalom donated move-in supplies and food to support the homeless families at the shelter. We are so grateful to them for their caring support this time and over many many many years.

The Wesley House Shelter recently received a donation of fresh produce from the State Correctional Institution located in the City of Chester. The food donation will help to support the homeless residents living at the Wesley House Shelter. The fresh produce is greatly appreciated by the families. The produce was delivered by Branden Feese who is a Corrections Activities Specialist at the prison.

September 24th is National Save a Life Day.

Save a Life Day is a nationwide day of action that promotes year-round widespread naloxone access as one solution to the overdose crisis. Each year, on the fourth Thursday of September, communities across the U.S. set up tables, train neighbors, and give away free naloxone.

Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) will be hosting an event through our Finally Home Program. The Finally Home Program provides housing and supportive services for families affected by the Opioid crisis.

In recognition of this important day, the Finally Home Program will provide free Narcan from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at our Boothwyn Office (1414 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn, PA 19061).

This free resource is open to the community. No appointment or registration is necessary. If you have any questions please call our main number at (610) 874-8451 and ask for Kahley McKenney.
