🚨 July 11, 2026 — At 10:15 a.m., Station 601 was dispatched—along with Bordentown Fire District #1, Bordentown Fire District #2, the Chesterfield Fire Department, and Robert Wood Johnson EMS—to the New Jersey State Police barracks following reports of a commercial building fire. Demonstrating high operational readiness, Ladder 6015 was on the road within three minutes of the initial alert, staffed by an in-station crew and bolstered by members responding from their residences.
Upon arrival, Ladder 6015 served as the first-due apparatus. The crew immediately initiated an aggressive fire attack, successfully deploying the front bumper line to begin suppression efforts. The Ladder 6015 officer placed all companies in service to ensure sufficient manpower for containment and operations.
The scene was further supported by the arrival of additional units: Engine 6011 provided crucial supplemental personnel, and Fire Police 6018, having been diverted from parade traffic control duties in Florence, arrived on-site to assist with traffic control.
Thanks to the rapid response and seamless coordination between all units, the fire was officially placed under control at 10:43 a.m. The decisive and professional actions taken by the members of Station 601 and their support units successfully mitigated the threat and prevented the fire from escalating further.
