Earlier this week we shared photos from our annual hose testing. Today, Consolidated Fire Association completed our annual pump and aerial ladder certification testing.

These tests are conducted by a specialized third-party company to ensure our apparatus meets all required performance and safety standards. From pump capacity testing to aerial ladder inspections and load testing, every component is evaluated and certified for service.

This testing is required annually and represents a significant investment by the department, but it is critical to ensuring our firefighters have safe, reliable equipment when responding to emergencies in our community.

🚒 Annual Equipment Testing Underway at Consolidated Fire Association 🚒

Today, members of the Consolidated Fire Association completed our annual fire hose testing. Later this week, our apparatus will undergo pump testing and ladder testing as part of our yearly certification process.

Many residents may not realize that these tests are conducted by a specialized third-party company and come at a significant cost to the department. However, these inspections are required and are essential to ensuring that all of our equipment meets national safety standards and is ready to perform when our community needs us most.

Every hose, pump, and ladder is thoroughly tested and certified for service each year. This investment in safety helps ensure that our firefighters have reliable equipment when responding to emergencies throughout the community.

We are grateful for the continued support of our residents, whose generosity helps make important testing, maintenance, training, and equipment certification possible.
