Dear Parents and Guardians,

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department has informed the District that a registered s*x offender is residing within our school district boundaries. This notification is not based on a specific incident or concern. It is being shared to encourage families to remain informed and take appropriate precautions to help keep children safe.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to periodically visit California’s Megan’s Law website at www.meganslaw.ca.gov and to remind children about personal safety and the importance of remaining in appropriately supervised areas.

Maintaining a safe environment for children is a shared community responsibility. Thank you for your continued awareness and support.

Online registration for returning students is now open. Please use the link below to complete your students registration for the 2026--2027 school year:

It’s best if you complete registration using an internet browser such as Chrome, Safari, or Edge rather than the ParentVUE app.

You will use the same ParentVUE username and password to log in.

If you need assistance with your login information, please contact your school site office Elementary 760-767-5333 Middle/High 760-767-5335, and we will be happy to help.

If your child is new to Borrego Springs Unified School District and has not previously been enrolled, please contact your school site office for the new student registration link.

All students must be registered by Wednesday, August 12, to help ensure a smooth start to the school year.
