Dont forget tomorrow us The annual Police, Fire, EMS, and Corrections Memorial Service that originated in the early 1900's is once again rapidly approaching. This year's event will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 starting at 0800 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Penacook. The Memorial service has expanded to recognize and remember Public Service personnel from around Merrimack County. This is a local event where we can ALL come together and remember the countless Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue personnel, and safety volunteers from around the county that have served their communities. I would like to urge all Public Service personnel in Merrimack County to take the time on June 7th to stand with us and keep this long standing tradition alive. Line-up for the service will begin at 8:00 AM on June 7th for a brief ceremony. In case of inclement weather, this event will be held inside Penacook Rescue. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to seeing all of you in this time honored tradition.

Great training in Salisbury last evening. Joint EMS/Rescue training with Salisbury Fire, Andover EMS, DHART air medical crew and Penacook Rescue.

Today, Paramedic Stephen Dunn and Paramedic Margot Kratzenberg (not pictured), along with members of Boscawen Fire Department, Boscawen Police Department, and Concord Fire Department, received a Unit Citation for their outstanding work in a technical extrication and patient treatment in Boscawen last year. The award was given at the 32nd Annual Committee of Merit Awards Ceremony.

PRS crew was recognized for their work in conjunction with Canterbury Fire members at an incident on the highway. Canterbury Chief Gamache awarded his members and the members of Penacook Rescue with a unit citation. We thank the Chief and members of Canterbury Fire for this recognition. Great job by all.

We had a visitor today in between calls, he was very nice, I think the crews hearts grew three times today!
