BOSSIER CITY, La. — As Bossier City approaches its 75th anniversary, residents will have a chance to explore the community’s rich history through a special art exhibition at the East

07/22/2026

Did you know that Bossier City, Louisiana was named an official city nearly 75 years ago? In August, Tommy Chandler Bossier City Mayor will commemorate this event in the East Bank District, in the same building that was City Hall 75 years ago. We are inviting the people who live and work in the City of Bossier to help showcase this wonderful city by loaning items, art, artifacts, etc. to display while we celebrate! Do you have a sign from a local business, the uniform you wore when your team won the big game, photographs of Bossier City landmarks or the people who make Bossier Move, or original artwork that represents the life and people of Bossier City? We'd love to display these on your behalf! This exhibition will be on display from noon on August 7 through September 15. Call, message, or email with any questions!
