Meet Commander Lex Webb -- Adult Leader of the Bossier Sheriff’s Young Marines Unit! He’s looking for new recruits to join our free youth education program.

"We are putting a call out to boys and girls to join our ranks," said Commander Webb. “The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral and physical development of its members with the guidance of the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.”

Shooting sports such as archery and air rifle as well as taekwondo lessons with Master Vellon are activities unique to the Bossier Sheriff’s Unit.

The Bossier Sheriff’s Unit meets on Saturdays from 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.

"We're growing and learning all the time," Webb said. "We are a successful unit, and we measure success by community involvement and kids having fun while learning."
