Bossier City Marshal Jim Whitman attended the 44th Annual Louisiana Governor’s Conference on Juvenile Justice at Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana, where he had the honor of leading attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The conference brought together law enforcement, juvenile justice professionals, state and local leaders, and community partners to share information and discuss ways to better serve Louisiana’s youth and strengthen our communities.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s conference possible.

Investing in training means investing in the safety of our community.

Representatives from the Bossier City Marshal’s Office attended the 2026 Dallas Crimes Against Children Conference this week, where law enforcement professionals from across the country received specialized training on protecting children and investigating crimes against children.

We were also honored to hear keynote speaker Tim Tebow share a powerful message about the importance of protecting the most vulnerable.

Our commitment to learning and professional development helps ensure we are prepared to better serve and protect the citizens of Bossier City.

Louisiana is not a safe haven for illegal aliens who exploit children.
