🍹 Big changes are coming to the Louisiana Boardwalk.
Bossier City has officially approved an open container district at the Boardwalk, allowing visitors to purchase alcoholic beverages from participating businesses and enjoy them while walking throughout designated areas.

Supporters say the move could help boost foot traffic, attract new businesses, and bring more energy back to one of the city’s most recognizable destinations. Others believe additional shops, restaurants, and attractions are still needed to fully revitalize the area.

The new district does come with rules: drinks must be purchased from participating businesses, served in approved non-glass containers, and cannot be taken into parking lots or brought from outside locations.

What do you think? Is this a good move for the Louisiana Boardwalk? Let us know in the comments. 👇

🇺🇸 Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice made our freedoms possible, and their courage will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us also take a moment to reflect with gratitude and respect.

From all of us at MPC Bossier City-Parish, we honor our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward. ❤️🤍💙
