Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll

Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll Proud mom, former mayor, pickleball aficionado. Union wife and Salem State grad. Lifetime member of the get stuff done branch of government (she/her)

Kim Driscoll is the 73rd Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She was sworn in on January 5, 2023, with Governor Maura Healey. Together, Healey and Driscoll are the first all-women executive team to lead Massachusetts. Formerly the Mayor of Salem, Lieutenant Governor Driscoll grew up in a military family and spent her childhood in a number of states before attending Salem Stat

e University. Like so many Salem State students, she fell in love with Salem and made it her home after graduation, pursuing a career in municipal government, and married her college sweetheart, a second-generation union bricklayer. She's a proud mom to three children. Exemplified by her extensive and successful career in local government, Lieutenant Governor Driscoll is focused on working with Governor Healey to create a forward-looking Commonwealth and communities that work for, empower, and include all who call Massachusetts home, as well as those who aspire to do so.

Equity lives in everything we do. In healthcare, as in everything, affordability is an equity issue, because high costs hit hardest on those who can least afford them.

Our Administration is doing everything we can to prevent that — from eliminating certain prior authorizations to taking on medical debt — we are working on keeping equity front and center.

Great to be at the 4th Annual Health Equity Trends Summit!

At the core of STEM education are the STEM educators that inspire our students each and every day. It’s the teachers who promote curiosity and creativity — and show dedication to our students.

Congratulations to our 2026 STEM Teacher of the Year, Anna Seiders, from Everett High School!

In Massachusetts, we believe education changes lives — which is why we made community college free!

Better outcomes for our students don’t happen by accident. They happen with intention, purpose, and when people choose to invest in one another.
